It was the spring rose of sharon semester and the first year at school Kläppen to an end, at that time I was only 6 years old and lived in Bomvägen in Sunderbyn. So did Sanna, Melli, Linnea and Matilda, so we were a fun bunch. No roles were determined but it was unsaid that Melli was the gang leader and I ordered quickly and naturally the role of rackartygsmakare which I of course lived up to as soon as I got the chance. So there came a sunny afternoon the day before graduation when we were out and play around as usual. I had pestered my mother that I would have my degree shoes on me, bright yellow canvas shoes with white laces and small orange flowers on. After much but she gave with him on one condition: that I do not, under any circumstances got shit down as much as a small flower on the shoes. Oops, what a miss. We gathered in a circle on Sanna's backyard, and whether anyone had seen a muskrat appeared. rose of sharon Melli had seen one but the others seemed a bit hesitant, I uttered that I had never seen or heard of these muskrats. rose of sharon She turned it, everyone had seen muskrats little very often and began to speak at each other how great they were and so on. I listened shocked on one scary story after another about muskrats rose of sharon were very aggressive and locks his jaws when they bite one so you have to go to the doctor rose of sharon to pry off the damn animal. Eventually it had traced to the point that muskrats subsisting rose of sharon on children and that anyone seen a muskrat as big as a German Shepherd in her summer cottage once. Bold as I was, I wanted the straight away to have this evidence, we squinted against the notorious big potato field that stretched out endlessly behind all the villas down to the river. When the decision was made to where if somewhere there must be a nest of mutated large muskrats. The idea of being the only one in the gang who has never seen a giant rat made me not give a single rose of sharon thought to the shoes, and what my mother had made me swear. Melli who would not prove inferior to my relief took the opportunity and went with me to the field, while the other in anticipation kept at a safe distance of a few feet behind us. It struck me that when the sun just cracked up at the sky after a few days of continuous rain, it is a potato field pretty damn muddy. When we had a 20-yard out, I get, however, abruptly experience this when I suddenly step into a clay pit and the more I try to pick me up the farther down I see the desperation of my brand new sneakers embraced by the mud. As if skoincidenten who just made itself known was tough enough just then rustle suddenly rose of sharon to a potato plant a few feet away and then Melli ghouls "A ONDATRA!" their hearts and virtually plunges back to safety on the road, closely followed by the others. Left on the ground I stand, rose of sharon with mud up to his knees and see before me a rat as big as a pony lufsandes come at me with murder in mind, the panic was complete. Do remember that at the time, was caught with my girl screams. But I got way too quickly learning that the fear of being eaten by a muskrat was not really anything compared to that then I would go home and show them up now helbruna shoes for mom. How much brain than working on different ideas and strategies, I realized that it could not wriggle out of it unnoticed or even neat, a wave of shame swept through the body and steps homewards was heavy. The mood was so sad that I actually was considering seeking out a pair of muskrats and let them half to kill me so that mom would forget his shoes and just be happy that she had left her daughter. It was finally the year when I went out first class, the year I spent my first summer holiday week with a curfew and also the first and last year I attended a graduation barefoot. I have to this day never seen a muskrat. rose of sharon However, just googled and realize that they are barely bigger than a pet cat, what a disappointment.

Rosen says I look like a muskrat. A ridiculous assertion, given that she probably did not know what I look like. She is almost blind, if you did not know it. But still ... you start the doubt. Rats are gray. But it is also seals. And rhinos. So I'm in good company.

UTE 1 was held this year in the 22-23.2 Pedersore in Ostrobothnia. The entire patrol Muskrat, ie Mark, Albert, Oscar, Christopher and I attended the course. On Saturday morning at. 7:06 started the train from Helsinki to Bennäs. When we arrived, tired but excited, we were received by two excited scouts from Pedersore. With them, we first travel to their kårlokal to wait for the other participants also began to appear. We were about 15 students plus leaders. All except we patrol Muskrat was from Ostrobothnia, including Narpes and Vaasa. Then we come to the right place, we presented ourselves first, and was then divided into groups tree fu tom of 3 or 4 people. Within these groups, we would cook. We started by building a tripod tree fu tom and manufacture a cradle to hang the pan on. Then we made a fire, which did not go as fast as we need to chop enough different size wood and light the fire with firestarter. Finally, after struggling for a long while, we got it to burn. On the menu was macaroni with minced meat.
The mittens to dry, it was very wet in the woods. After lunch, we had different work which we learned, among other things how to keep warm and the material of the clothes, tree fu tom it pays to have when it's cold. We also learned about what it pays to cook the food on, depending on the temperature. In the evening, we set up tents that we would sleep in. The tents resembled little teepee and in the middle of the tent, we had a fire. At night we had kipinäturer that was a little longer than an hour.
We had water in a pot over the fire all night so that we would have hot water in the morning. Before we went to bed we grilled potatoes, sausage and chokobanan on fire inside the tent and talked to each other. We had great fun, and those who were from Narpes learned little finland Kingdom. We laughed a lot because it sounded so weird: D They learned among other things that the potato is called piäru, which we thought tree fu tom was very funny. It was the wake-up half past seven the next morning. Morning meal, which consisted of bread and instant oatmeal, we ate in the tent. A little later, we took down the tent and started to pack up our things.
The last exercise session of the course was about orientation. We learned to appreciate how far we have gone and we are oriented in about an hour with the help of a compass. When we were finished with the orientation, we started to cook lunch, which was ground beef soup. When everything was ready and we got away clean diploma course and then started walking towards the parking lot again. Tired and smell of smoke spirit then we sat on the train for about 4 hours. We had a really fun and educational weekend, I think anyway I! A big thanks to all who attended! Emilia
