Federal Court: GPS bugs are punishable by law - for private dobbies investigators
The monitoring of persons with GPS receivers on vehicles is punishable. This was decided by the Federal Court today. Private investigators had thus created motion profiles of "targets". For government use of GPS bugs, the Court did not comment.
The defendants had concealed for various clients (individuals) monitoring dobbies contracts executed the work and / or should lead the private lives of persons (targets) for evidence on this.
