The region has actually implemented the first two phases of the project, and members of the committee decided to finance the implementation of the third phase it at the national level. Poltava also take part in it as one of the most active regions with the highest number of communities - said Director of Economic Development RSA Elena Adamovich. Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Vladimir Marchenko said that an international project EU / UNDP gave impetus to the implementation of such projects within the region and encouraged local municipalities to participate in solving their own problems. Poltava actively involved in the joint project of the European Union and UNDP "Local Development CBA." For example, 23 districts have submitted fdesouche their project development. During the first phase of the joint EU / UNDP had implemented 50 micro-communities in the region with a total value of more than 7 million. During the second phase, fdesouche which runs until 2015, is planned to implement 51 more initiative to local communities. The project is the principle of equity: 50 percent of the funds needed for the implementation of the initiatives of local communities, allocates EU-25 - the regional budget, 20 - local governments, and 5 percent of the amount collected most of the community. During the "round table", the paper which was attended by the immediate project participants from different districts of Poltava, Kirovohrad fdesouche and representatives and Donetsk regions, scientists have repeatedly emphasized that at the stage of implementation fdesouche of the first phase of the project municipalities put forward initiatives to repair or laying water pipes, and during the implementation of the second phase of the funds accumulated mainly in energy saving technologies.
