If there is anything that lights nim up on a gray January day, it's the sunshine yellow ranulkel that I had given New Year's Eve. It is in a good company on the table in the conservatory, with hyacinths and houseleek. I love buttercups, they resemble small roses.

Hi Anne. In the winter, I have them in my conservatory, it looks like a greenhouse. When it is spring, I have them out in jars. They must not dry out too much, but do not drown in water. They do not tolerate frost, so if it gets it in the conservatory, I move it to coarse kitchen where there is frost free, but cold. Ranunculus is not everlasting flowers, but I think that they keep ok when they are cool. KH Anette Delete
