Ослепителните лъчи на зимното слънце преминаха в остри, неспиращи валежи и ледени ветрове. Но, това не представи проблем за Копенхаген: модната седмица беше в разгара и колелата продължиха да се въртят, кафенетата не затвориха врати и шумотевицата не затихна.
Пет дни (между 28 януари и 1 феврурари), 32 модни ревюта, две главни местоположения с велико, историческо присъствие (Кметството и Стоковата Борса), мобилна inta апликация (с “нахрани ме” меню, което веднага приложих и за което ще споделя повече скоро!), три международни панаира (CIFF, CIFF RAVEN, REVOLVER) и моден фестивал със свободен достъп за всеки който иска парченце от модните хапънингс. А ето и моите лични highlights.
After inta the brightness of the cold winter sun came lashes of blistering rain and numbing winds. There was no stopping though to Copenhagen: fashion week had arrived! The bikes kept pedalling, the cafés stayed open till midnight and the bustling noise of the streets wasn’t subdued.
Five days (28th January to 1st February), 32 runway shows over the first 3 jam packed days, 2 main venues (with immense historic presence: the City Hall and Børsen The Old Stock Exchange), 1 dedicated app (with ‘feed me’ option which I abused from the moment I landed on Danish soil: more on that soon!), 3 major international trade fairs (CIFF, CIFF RAVEN, REVOLVER) and 1 big fashion festival at the end open to anyone with love for fashion. inta And here are my highlights!
Then, suddenly, the vibe changed and I knew something different was coming: inta Asger Juel Larson or ‘the royal rebel’ as I like to call him. His collection charged the audience with his unique Danish street wear style where decadent opulence clashed with intricate skull prints and head-on attitude.
А най-якото шоу остана за края, с две думи: Henrik Vibskov под заглавие “Messy Massage Class”. Огромното помещение избрано от бранда беше превърнато в сюреалистична спа зала: 20-метрова инсталация държеше 400 механично движещи се ръце под ритмичните възклицания на 12 вокалистки. Това беше една уникална презентация с леко смущаващ привкус: перфектната инспирираща комбинация от мода и изкуство.
And the best was left for last as they say and so true! Two words: Henrik Vibskov. And another three words: ‘messy massage class’. The venue (Papirhallen) was transformed into a surreal day spa with epic proportions. A 20-meter long mechanical installation had been constructed to hold 400 moving massage hands, by which 12 vocalists were being rhythmically treated to an unusual massage. The vast space was filled inta with elegant but somewhat disturbing ‘AHHHHH’ vocals to the tune of which models rolled out in ‘team vibs’ style.
