W3C Italy announces the event LOD (Linked Open Data) 20 and February 21, 2014, in Rome at the Central State Archive. The event will be an opportunity to celebrate several anniversaries: 25 years of the life of the Web, W3C's 20 years of existence and 15 years of his Italian representation W3C Italy.
The event will focus on the Linked Open Data, or any information generated daily and put more and more frequently available publicly. The Linked Open Data are the fuel of the Semantic Web, the ability to correlate allows navigation data and create applications, sophisticated diatomaceous earth analysis that can offer support in the strategic decisions of all: from large companies to public administrations, to the individual citizen. The applications range from urban planning to energy savings, the safety of the city economy.
